As any reader can see Easy could have been a neighbor or a good friend to anyone before prison. We aren't monsters in these human warehouses. Most of us deeply regret what put us in prison. Hating people like Easy won't address the issue and make the violations happen less. Hating people like Easy is exactly what the many for-profit entities involved with American criminal justice desire people to do. This makes the rest of their public relations campaigns relatively simple. This sex offense tool has become the major scare tactic in the vested interests portfolio of ways of keeping public opinion on the side of believing it is a justified thing to lock up people and hold them so long simply warehoused. This has been how things are in the "justice" system and have been for many years. Warehousing humans without trying to correct their behavior or truly prevent future violations.
