Angela you have done it again

such a phenomenal collection. this book connects international struggle from prison abolition in the US to surveillance equipment in Palestine and sheds so much light on how our collective liberation is all tied together. i cannot recommend this book enough!

Reading about Black and Palestinian struggle in 2025

I could read, listen, and learn from Angela Davis all day. This book is timeless; reading about the struggle of Palestinians from 2013 in 2025, where I have only just begun learning about the besiege. Liberation will come, it must come from within first. I hope more people will become aware and join the movement.

Still Relevant

4.5* Only half a star off since this is a collection of speeches Angela has made so certain points are often reiterated. Tragically as relevant today as it was in 2016 when this was released.
