Michael Sand, an ideological patriot, joined the Marine Corps at the age of 18 years. His exceptional quickness and leadership caught the attention of the Corps senior leadership and put him on a fast track to Lieutenant Colonel in Special Ops at Quantico, Virginia. Michael's challenge is adapting to civilian life as he transitions from a no-holds-barred warrior to a cultured and more refined freedom fighter. Along the way he finds a new interest in romance as he struggles to overcome his loneliness. He also learns that he must educate people to the threats he sees. To that end he forms an Institute and charter school franchise with the purpose of educating young people regarding the founding principles that made America the envy of the world. As his companies grow and gain more influence, they come to the attention of the dark forces seeking power by any means.
