Free to be a New Woman

We are a new creation - a new identity - we are free!2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if anyone trusts Christ, she is a new creation. The old things have passed away and the new things have come. We are now freed from sin and we give control to God, who sets us apart to be like Jesus and gives us eternal life. (Romans 6:22) Christ sets us free and we no longer are slaves to sin. (Galatians 5:1) The truth sets us free -We learn truth from the Bible, from studying what Christ did for us to set us free and to give us new lives in Him. Jesus told His disciples in John 8:31 and 32 that as His disciples, they should remain in His word and the truth in that word would set them free. God's truth also sets us free. And if God sets us free, we are indeed free - free to be a new woman.
