Much neglected skill - good source of information for players and coaches!
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 16 years ago
Most basketball games are decided by five or fewer points. Dunks and threes are great, but you win with free throws and lay-ups! Reinhart does not address free throws in this book, but he gives some excellent technical information on how to shoot free throws, a much neglected skill that many coaches do not take the time to teach and players do not take the time to master. The techniques in this book are not only described in print, but shown with black and white photographs. The author's approach focuses on proper biomechanical functioning of the body in the act of shooting. The book is out-of-print so you will need to buy used copies, and the price is great for the information!
