Always love this book as a kid!! My teacher read it a bunch to.us in 1st and 2nd grade. She's not trying to grow up at all while everyone else is
They keep reminding her to be more mature and start and she is in her own world. It may not seem kid related but it's never too early to get taught responsibility, whichever the nature.
Not exactly a "children's" book
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 25 years ago
An avid fan of the Serendipity series, I must confess that this book is not truly a children's book. The illustrations and storyline are keeping with the true Serendipity tradition, and it is a great addition if you already have most of the others, but the moral is intended more for adults, illustrating that you must take care of yourself in order to care for your child. You may wish to use it to show your children how much work and love you put forth into their upbringing, however.
