Fragmented Reality Part 1: Domino Effect is based on events that occurred to me the fall of 2023. For about a year, my mind was under a lot of duress over an experience that led to catastrophic consequences in my mental health.
This experience has a name we are all too familiar with: Unrequited love or unrequited passion. Unrequited empathy and compassion. We all have experienced this same pain at least once in our lifetime. I was caught in the middle of a very bizarre and toxic marital or relationship dynamic. A man I thought I could trust ended up using me for his own gratification. The woman in question was so passive to my painful experience her indifference to the events I endured was in itself very traumatic to witness. That led me to come to very dark conclusions about their relationship...or lack thereof?
My story is meant to resonate with those who feel things very intensely. It is meant to resonate with those who have been wronged and never got a true sense of justice, but still manage to find victory in their own inner strength to create beauty out of chaos. At the end of this book, a provide samples of my poems that helped me cope with this experience. I envisioned a "labyrinth of dark and thoughts and emotions" throughout this entire traumatic experience. I write through the lenses of someone with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I welcome you into my world of sublime thoughts.
