Zaina Mckinley found out she was adopted after overhearing her adoptive parents making plans to blackmail her birth mother. She hated her adoptive parents because they had abused her for many years, and finding out they were not her real parents, unleashed a demon inside her which took control of her thoughts and actions. Zaina was sure that if her adoptive parents were out of her life, she would be free to go in search of her biological parents. This made her hate her mother and father. Zaina no longer wanted to be a part of their lives and she believed they were both better off dead. Zaina's hate for her mother and father consumed her, and propelled her to commit heinous crimes which led her down a path of self-destruction.
