Marvelous? How about Super Marvelous?

Fountain of Marvelous is full of the hilarity that is life. Mrs. Fausone says it like it is and makes you think about life in a new way. While reading this book, I tortured my husband by interrupting his TV watching to read parts of the stories to him. I read the entire section of "Pick Me Up" and then called my sister in PA and read it to her... then texted my best friend a couple of lines... then went next door and read it to my neighbor. This is the kind of book you pick up, don't want to put down, and want to share with everyone else. Chance the wonder Yorkie will make you appreciate your own crazy pets while Mrs. Fausone decodes the NASCAR culture for you a little bit. I loved reading Fountain and cannot wait to read "Life is Ridiculous." I highly suggest you get a copy and start reading- it will make your day, perhaps your entire life, happier :-).

Fountain of Marvelous is Marvelous!

Hilarious! Mrs. Fausone can take an everyday situation and turn it into a gut-busting comedy! She sees the humor in situations that would make most of us weep in despair and shows us that life really is a fountain of marvelous. Thanks Valerie!!! I can't wait for the next book, and I wish this one was longer!

Wow,Valerie is an outstanding humorist. You will be in stitches if you can embrace your own less than perfect self, as Valerie writes everything the rest of us dare not. Absuletly marvelous!!

Sardonic Wit

In an era where every new television drama is overflowing with cops and doctors or worse, contestants exploiting one another to get rich or get famous, Fountain of Marvelous is an oasis. Fausone is just like us, another working-class person coping with all of the insanity that comes her way. Trust me, there is plenty of insanity to go around. Be it the Oscar Mayer Wiener-mobile (who wouldn't want a chance to drive that thing) or how to prepare yourself for having a dog (pre-trash your living space so the dog won't have to) or having to deal with (ugh) germs at the local Target, Fausone has an opinion about everything. The every-day is something best dealt with by a sardonic wit and a big feces detector, two things very much in evidence in this humorous tome. --

Marvelous is Right

You really want to buy this book! Valerie is a truly gifted storyteller. She sets the scene in such a way that the reader can see what's happening as she tells the story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Fountain of Marvelous and I'm already looking forward to reading her next book!
