A Page Turner!

I was more than pleasantly surprised when I read Anika Kunik's "45 ½ Lovers." What I thought would be humorous anecdotes of various relationships in one woman's life, was actually a page turner of a book. It had me laughing till I cried (really!), thinking about relationships, and wondering about the true meaning of love. Author Anika Kunik uses insight, humor and honesty to reveal, what may at first seem like a woman and her sex life, but is ultimately a book about a woman in search of an emotional connection. I finished the book a week ago and I'm still thinking about it. I highly recommend it. ~LL

A Must Read!

What a dance! Sexy, spicy, smart, funny and fabulous! I'm thrilled I had a chance to read Forty - Five ½ Lovers. It took me on such a journey. It reminded me that it's okay for sex to be flawed and funny and embrace the lessons learned. The author's direction of the book is terrific. Two thumbs up for Anika Kunik!

45.5 Lovers the Tragic Sex Chronicles of Amanda Buffington...from her "First" to her "Last"...witty and lives life regarding sex, in the moment and follows her heart, her hormones and her hips...with open mind, open heart and open legs (it is a book about sex after all)...gotta love her! It is a fast read and her sexcapades will cause you laugh, wonder really?! and cry...seems honest, tender and heartfelt. Read for yourself and find out how your lovers rate...she's got an interesting chart. hehehhhahahah! Hope They are all a 0 Regrets and a Heat Factor 10! but most likely, if you are anything like Amanda, there are a few others in the range...Enjoy!

More than just a fun read

This book is really funny. I expected it to be entertaining (which it was!), but I was pleasantly surprised by how many times I caught myself giggling throughout the read. I also found the novel to be smart and real and honest. The book, in spite of the seemingly light topic, made me reflect upon people in my life - how people come and go and change us in small ways and make us who we are. I would definitely recommend it!
