"Forked Tongue" tells the story of a pregnant lady who had a close call with death. She almost drives off a cliff when her brakes fail. She has other close calls, too. Her husband, a PhD. who teaches Psychology at a nearby college, is the logical suspect. He has a student who he is having an affair with, urging him to leave his wife. They also learn that Phyllis is having an affair with a male friend. Who is the father of her child and who is behind the attempts on her life? Things aren't what they seem, and the plot keeps you guessing to the last page.
