Forgiving My Unforgivable: A Personal Journey to Healing from Abortion

Even as Christians, we often have a list of sins we feel would be considered UNFORGIVABLE. After all, if WE were God, many of us feel there are just some things we couldn't pardon. Some of those sins, sadly enough, we have committed ourselves. We may hide them away, become numb and depressed, and wonder why we cannot truly find joy or meaning. We may be going through life punishing ourselves and accepting the worst or asking forgiveness, repeatedly, only to never truly believe it is possible or deserved. This is a poem of the author's journey to freedom from abortion, of getting off of the throne and out of God's way, to find and finally receive forgiveness. May it bless you and any loved ones who may be struggling with healing related to a past abortion.
