This book is simply a wonderful slice of life. It's an easy and uplifting read. The author begins her tale from behind the bars of a mental institution where she was kept for alcoholism and ends by forming a wonderful ministry in Christ. She, along with her two companions, formed the first homes for women in need in Miami and Brooklyn. It's just inspiring to read about someone who had no hope left go on to acheive such important endeavors, foremost being her walk with God. In this day, most of us could use a lift like this.
