People have the choice to treat you the way they want to but you have a choice too in how you react to their actions. If what they do drives you to want to retaliate then you are weak. By forgiving, you demonstrate that you are a strong person. Our heavenly Father is the author of forgiveness and requires of us that we emulate Him. Forgiving is not an easy task but through prayer God will give you the power.
