Forgive Our Debts is the story of a father and two sons with a teetering family business, the Mogollon Assembly Company, which is struggling through the Great Recession. The retired father still depends upon the besieged business he started for his income. He and his sons have a strained relationship, and they seldom agree about how to steer Mogollon Assembly through its myriad difficulties. It is also the story of a distraught banker trying to mend his broken marriage while protecting his bank's large and shaky loan to the Mogollon Assembly Company. The demands of his stricken bank, which still owes the government for TARP money, as well as his devastated wife, push the banker past his limits.
