Thrilling

This is a book that catches the reader from the first page and keeps them in suspense until the end. Rick Summer faces his worst nightmare as soon as he leaves the cemetary from visiting his mom and sister's grave. He gets into a cab and the driver is a corpse. He is brought to ex's house who has been missing for several days. Before he knows it he is sucked into a house that at any moment will change into something from the past and he is forced to see and experience many horrible things. When he is able to leave the house he goes somewhere he thinks would be safe for a little while, but suddenly turns into another nightmare. No matter what Rick tries to do he is forced back into the house of many faces. At first when Rick's characteristics are shown, you think what a low life (harsher words are really thought),but as the story continues you start to feel for this character. As I read this book I was able to see the images in my head vividly, the author's descriptions were so graphic that I had chills. I would love to see this book on the big screen. I can't wait for Gary Frank's next book.

Entertaining time trip

What a strange, strange trip it's been.! A great first novel filled with plenty of sex, gore and lustful inuendos. Rick Summers is chased in this life and all his past lives by an obvious nympho hell bent on destroying him and his former, now turned lesbian, girlfriend. Although the chapters (some totaling 70 pages)seem rather lengthy, the reader is taken along for a wild hair raising horror romp thru pasts lives trying to find a way to escape loves vengeful wrath!

Welcome to my nightmare

Forever Will You Suffer by Gary Frank is a deeply personal kind of horror story that gets inside the head and heart of the characters. I heard the author speak on a panel discussion in North Jersey and thought he was bright and insightful and finally tracked down his book. It was worth the hunt. An excellent first novel.

A new voice in modern horror

For a first novel, Forever Will You Suffer offers up some nice chills, and provides some interesting twists on the horror themes that have otherwise become stale. I got this book at a sci-fi convention in Philly late last year and didn't get around to reading it until now. Glad I finally gave it a shot...it was worth it.

Nice and Creepy

Forever Will You Suffer, a first novel by Gary Franks, plays out like a film, with strong and eerie visuals, some genuine shocks, and a lingering feeling of creepiness. I strongly recommend it!
