Forest, a 12-year-old Boxer/Pit mix awakens to find his Mommy & Daddy packing to move and suddenly his whole world is turned into a turmoil filled with anxiety and fear. Not understanding why his parents would do such a horrible thing to hi and his life, he goes through many emotions while they drive across the country to a new home.

Forest goes through a lot from boredom with the drive to staying at new, strange places and not understanding why any of this needs to happen. He also learns a lot about himself, new things on the trip, his family, and how he can always rely on them.

After many, sometimes exciting and sometimes sad adventures, he arrives at his new home and starts to discover that this new place is not just as good as his old, but maybe better in many ways.
