Depuis de nombreuses ann?es, les forces terrestres ont une place centrale dans les interventions militaires fran?aises. Liban, C?te d'Ivoire, Centrafrique, Afghanistan, Mali sont autant de th??tres o? les forces terrestres ont ?t? d?ploy?es dans la dur?e. Leurs actions ont ?t? d?terminantes lors de l'op?ration Serval au Mali, Sangaris en Centrafrique et Barkhane au Sahel. Mais pour pouvoir mener des op?rations ext?rieures, l'arm?e de terre a besoin de s'appuyer sur un outil de pr?paration op?rationnelle performant o? les unit?s sont plong?es au plus pr?s de la r?alit? des engagements. La mise en condition avant projection est ainsi adapt?e aux sp?cificit?s des missions et des th??tres. Aujourd'hui, les forces terrestres repr?sentent plus de 50 r?giments qui peuvent ?tre engag?s dans un cadre interarmes et interarm?es, et ce, quel que soit le type de conflit, r?gulier ou asym?trique.

For many years, land forces have had a central place in French military interventions. Lebanon, Ivory Coast, Central African Republic, Afghanistan, Mali are all theaters where land forces have been deployed over time. Their actions were decisive during Operation Serval in Mali, Sangaris in the Central African Republic and Barkhane in the Sahel. But to be able to carry out external operations, the Army needs to rely on a powerful operational preparation tool where the units are immersed as close as possible to the reality of the engagements. The conditioning before projection is thus adapted to the specificities of the missions and the theaters. Today, the land forces represent more than 50 regiments that can be engaged in a combined arms and joint framework, regardless of the type of conflict, regular or asymmetrical.
