Not What You'd Expect

This was such a good book and a good story. Usually I don't expect much from "Urban Romance" books, but this one exceeded my expectations. The story was well written and most importantly it was believable. I love to read about black people finding true love. Although it's not represented in main-stream media, and at times we are our own worst enimies when it comes to representing black love, it does exist and I believe most people (male & female) desire to be loved like Anthony loved Randi in this book. Anthony's character was a little tough to take in the beginning, but the changes you get to see in him are admirable. I only gave this book 4 stars because again judging by the cover you don't expect much. Don't sleep on this one, it's a great read.

Good Read

I liked this book. I usually don't get into the "urban romances" but, this one was very well done. I enjoyed both characters and thought the story line was very realistic. The romance was great! Highly Recommend.

Good Book

Despite the other reviews, I enjoyed the book. It was a page turner for me. I enjoyed the interractions between the main characters. I especially enjoyed the way each character changed.
