Follow a mentally broken ex-Police Officer as he tries to re-establish the man he once was by working with a collective of vigilantes in a dystopian post war Michigan. Christopher Richter moved to Lincoln Park with his wife Emma to start a new life and follow his dream career in Law Enforcement. He becomes comfortable with his new way of life despite the world around him continued to degrade as several terrorist attacks plague the United States. Life was changed forever when an all out attack was launched, crippling the government and sending the United States into an unwinnable war on terror. It was not long before Martial Law was put into effect and everyone was left to fend for themselves as several of the governing systems within the United States ceased to exist. Two years after the war took its toll on Michigan, Chris finds himself unmotivated as he relives the life he took for granted through distorted nightmares. Working as a gun for hire with a group that calls themselves the Specters, he finds himself drifting further from the man he once was as he tries to help those around him. Looking for a way to reconcile with the life he now lives Chris is introduced to a doctor named David who is looking for someone to help him find his kidnapped daughter. Shortly after taking the job Chris realizes that he has begun to walk down a dark road. Willing to do anything to find the girl and return her to her family, Chris begins to think that he can live with himself once more if he can just finish out this one last job.
