Former Senator Wilfred Moore has been part of the political and cultural fabric of Nova Scotia and Canada for the best part of 50 years. From Halifax alderman and deputy mayor, chair of the Halifax Metro Centre and of the Bluenose II Preservation Trust Society, to ultimately representing Nova Scotia in the Senate of Canada he has been an important actor on the provincial and national stages.
