Getting over stage fright

This book for teachers has some excellent ideas for encouraging children, even shy ones, to do public speaking. The fun activities lead to comfort in eventually doing more formal presentations. The activities include: imitating animal voices, airport announcements, charades, press conference, dial-a-story (the students record the stories which others can call and listen to by telephone), dialogues, cheers, and many others. Good inspiration for teachers helping children to speak.
