Jennifer Ryker, an aspiring young model, is slowly drawn into a twisted relationship with criminal overlord, Frank Barker who's obsessed with her. He uses an idol-an ancient goddess statue that exudes a power over any woman in its presence-to control Jennifer. He entices her into being the ultimate exotic dancer, the goddess. Jennifer's workaholic father, Dallas tycoon Denny Ryker, discovers her plight and it shatters his life. He turns to God for help and sends a young widower named Peter to rescue Jennifer. Peter and Jennifer fall in love, but before they can begin a relationship, Frank ensnares Jennifer and forces her to agree to marry him using Jennifer's dead friend's infant son as bait. Peter risks all to free her from Frank's clutches.
