Lee challenges readers in their everyday walk with the LORD, using their God given platform, prayer. In our daily activities we all intersect with others who need God's divine help and intervention. What we do with those moments is up to us, but if we see the need, it maybe one of God's "for such a time as this moments". While few realize what a powerful platform prayer is, God has given every believer our most important tool here on earth, to use for others and to communicate with God, prayer. The possibilities God gives us to make a difference in the lives of everyone around us. God loves to answer prayer and talk with His sons and daughters, that's why He gave it to us. Just like those who came over 3,000 years ago, prayer is still a very powerful platform today too. "For such a time as this" moments are intertwined throughout history, like the stories of David and Goliath or Queen Ester. They rose to the occasion and used their God given platforms to serve God, and to deliver their people. While our place may not be quite as desperate, your prayers for those in need can change the destiny or an outcome in those around you. As Mordecai's message to Queen Ester went, "For who knows whether thou art brought to the kingdom for such a time as this". We need to be aware of our place, will someone else need to be raised to fulfill our God given place, or will we stand in the gap for others and God. Prayer was never meant to be a Sunday morning only platform, just at church, but daily conversations with God. Our platforms share the goodness of God with a fallen and needy world, for His glory. What is prayer? There are many types of prayer; giving thanks, asking for guidance, healing and favor among many. Lee thinks most importantly: Prayer is the intersection of faith and expectation with thanksgiving, and need along with supplication, being brought confidently to the throne of God, for His divine release of the power or answer to the request. While our place may not be as desperate as the stories above, who can know the mind of God. He is an amazing God and Father, He has involved His children, you and I, in His plan of redemption of mankind through our daily lives. Whether you see something in person or on some sort of media, you can make a difference. Lee uses his own near death experience and subsequent two years of overcoming medical challenges to show the reader how it led him to have numerous opportunities to pray for those along the journey. Divine appointments are at every turn to help those that were in need. Even trips to the Emergency room and times at work, "for such a time as this" moments arose daily. We all have them Lee believes there are no coincidences, only choices. We can decide to not notice the world around us and use our platform of prayer, or we can be mighty prayer warriors for the LORD. Remember that as you go, you can make a profound difference.
