The protagonist throughout the story is a girl named "Mahtab" with a charming face, a pure and kind heart, full of intelligence, and iron will. It seems that destiny has decided that the gentle soul of this good and loving human being beaten with the most severe calamities and hardships and that his life is filled with the most heartbreaking sorrows and oppressions. And it seems that destiny has a great goal and purpose from the path that has been set before her! Since Mahtab is on the verge of human perfection, an angel appears to her who anonymously comes to her aid in the most dangerous moments.When she is hardened like steel in the battle with sufferings and hardships and has reached the peak of evolution, the angel appears to her openly. After revealing the secrets of creation to her, she tells Mahtab that she has emerged victorious and proud from the difficult tests that were placed in her way. And he has been chosen by God for a very big mission! After that, this angel is watching her throughout the story and in many cases, even saves her from the danger of death.Mahtab suffered greatly in her first marriage, which was unfairly imposed on her after she was raped by an unknown person in the dark, which ended up in her absolute misery in society. After all, her vile husband, who turned out to be the rapist, tried to kill her when his secret was revealed. But the guardian angel just arrives and kills him in a battle.In this part of Mahtab's life, her husband Majid, who is a devil and wicked psychic person, gives her the worst persecution and maltreatment. After a while, Mahtab falls in love with a man named Meysam and marries him. This time her husband is very kind and loving, but his father, General Zandi, is one of the manifestations of evil and malice. This person is closely related to the jinns and is somehow the agent of Satan in helping the regime survive. He is one of the most important pillars of the Islamic regime and plays an important role in most of the crimes of the anti-people regime of the Islamic Republic. At first, while he had not seen Mahtab at all, he strongly opposed Mahtab and Meysam's marriage, but after a couple of years that he saw her by chance, he fell deeply in love with her and asked them to move to his very large and luxurious house to live. Meysam, who, unlike his father, is an opponent of the regime, is eventually assassinated on his father's orders. From now on, the most bitter and painful tragedies in Mahtab's life are recorded by her father-in-law, who seeks to achieve her love ...Arash Kamangir has long been writing novels in Farsi but has "For of My Daughter" as his first writing experience in English. He lives in forced exile in Europe. His purpose in writing this book is primarily to acquaint non-Iranian audiences with Iranian culture and social relations and with a corner of the most horrible and full of oppression and discrimination situations imposed by Shia mullahs' regime the majority of Iranian society, especially "women". The feminist theme of the book reflects the author's serious tendency to defend the rights of oppressed Iranian women.
