While Cole and Ricky reconstruct the skeleton of a young dinosaur, Ricky accidently cuts his hand on a radioactive bone. He gains amazing abilities, but now he is also dying from whatever killed the dinosaur!
Cole and his dad, the Professor, must activate the Professor's Rediscover Time Machine so Cole can travel back in time for a prehistoric plant to save Ricky's life! But in the process, a freak thunderstorm causes this same live young dinosaur to come back with Cole.
