Good but not what I thought

For the most part this is what it says it is - a listing of the Bible in chronological order so that you can use what ever translation or Bible you want to. The description though is a bit misleading in one place - it mentions that the book is full of pictures to aid in comprehension. I took that to mean pictures of the Holy Land or even maps of locations. That is not so. While the pictures in the book are beautiful, they have almost nothing to do with the readings - they are usually of nature or religious icons (like crosses) or historical religious art or of modern day people. Not what I was expecting. This is still a good tool to have - 3 other ladies at work and I have started a Bible study and this is what we are using.

A Great Way to Read Scripture

I won't recommend this for spiritual understanding because only the Lord can open your eyes and open your ears to truly understand Scripture. But I have enjoyed this book immensely and it has helped for a literal understanding.
