Sometimes it feels like the world is burning down around us. Maybe we caused the fire, or didn't put it out fast enough. Maybe life is such a mess that there were so many fires it wasn't even possible to put them all out. Or maybe it was spontaneous combustion - bursting into the bright cleansing flame of inspiration. Whatever the source of the flame - as poets, we use it. These poems are channeled from the epic hall of emotion that is our lives.
