O'Leary tells the stories of Raoul Wallenberg, Sir Thomas More, Florence Nightingale, Sir Winston Churchill, Booker T. Washington, General Jimmy Doolittle, and Janusz Korchak. The courage, integrity, focus, passion, and daring of each of these individuals presents us with patterns for living a successful life that O'Leary amplifies on in the second half of the book. Our success or failure at doing what God has called us to do is in our hands. He explains how the journey begins, how to overcome in the valley of idols, and how to ultimately fulfill God's destiny for your life. The storytelling is superb, but the real meat of this book lies in O'Leary's analysis of what made these people's lives remain important to us often centuries later. It's inspiring reading that should help anyone desiring to make God's call on their life a reality.
