Born in 1939, Sara has seen so many changes in her lifetime that she noticed a reference she thought was common her grand kids didn't understand. Sara realized her grand kids had never heard of a Sears Catalog and she wanted to document her growing up from WWII to today. She's lived in the 20th and 21st century. She comes from a family that loves history, so she thought I need to, "just write it down." Like her father used to say. Of course at 80+ years young she says she's never grown up. Follow Sara's story, from a girl in small town Indiana, to heading out west. Learn who her role models were and what shaped her to become the woman she is today. She hopes her story will be an inspiration for her family and for others. That with hard work, a strong will and determination you can do anything you put your mind to, even in the face of life's challenges.
