Lily Poe lives an idyllic life spent in the company of her dog Mavis, mostly among the flowers in her backyard. She accepts it all as grist for her weekly column in the Evening Daily she calls Fools & Naked People. However, a formidable glitch occurs when Lily needs to make it all appear normal, which unknowingly requires the help of Michael's divine source of love and the gifts that allow him to tinker with the magic of the celestial light.
