Did you like science shows as a child?

This is the book to go to when you are wondering why your latest culinary adventure went astray. Why, you ask, did the broccoli make the stir fry taste bad? How long will tapioca be... tapioca? What the #@% & IS tapioca, really? Where does it grow? Pick this book up and use it just like any cookbook. Your cooking will improve, your food trivia will be tremendous, and all the other food (and some chemistry) nerds will be in awe of your knowledge! admittedly it is VERY dry reading, but it'll be okay, I promise. So, have a beverage, open up to the assigned chapter, and have fun learning about food! -Rz
