First food photography book that makes sense

Having recently entered the foray of recipe writing, I've purchased a few books related to food photography and styling. Without doubt, this has been the best for uninitiated photographers. Camera concepts and settings are explained in such a way that makes sense, and after slogging through a few other books which will no doubt become more useful as I become more skilled, the number of times I mentally said, "oh that makes sense" or simply "aha" in the first few chapters was refreshing. I will not be returning this book ever.
