Matchmaking: the meeting precedes dating and bonding, followed by decisions, and possibly major transitions.... FONDLY, BOB is potentially about everyone. Possibly it's your story, too, however with different cities and players. If your life has been impacted by the religious passions of others, this might be your story. It might be your story if you experienced or survived a realm or relationship in which false accusations made you question your own sanity. That experience has a name: "gaslighting," and it masks reality. . My task is to report what happened to me, and not to proclaim my innocence. I attempted to write this story as a messenger reporting events, however filtered through the lenses of my memories, emotions, and values. I couched it sometimes with humor, but universal to this condition of being human: that is not always possible. I have found life at its best is glorious; life at its worst is devastating. I augmented my insights with those of others, whose wisdom over time provide testimonials to the nature of our human family. I believe the reader will find in them reflections of conditions that are not unique to one person. My influence by the work of Carl Jung, Scott Peck, and Shakespeare finds relevance here. Dr. Jung gave me archetypes, dreams, and the importance of the unconscious realm that exists in each one of us. Scott Peck's work, "THE PEOPLE OF THE LIE" informed me about behaviors that seem innocent and well-intentioned on the surface, however passively and inscrutably malevolent and evil their true intentions. My best-worst example of that person is Shakespeare's Iago. It is through the ingenious metaphors and storytelling of Shakespeare that I recognized timeless parallels in human behavior. The success of my goal to discern reality in my conclusions, unbiased by my emotions, can only be determined by you, dear reader. It is my wish that you find at the very least a point of reference, and at most, a sense of hope that all is not lost upon entering the darkness. I feel a purpose for my experience, if only that I might provide encouragement to even one reader. I feel that, however catastrophic these events turned, they were always protected by a Divine presence.
