Perfect for Small Group Discussions

In his slim book "Followship: The Essence of Our Journey with Jesus," Pastor Jerry Gillis offers readers six lessons on more closely following Jesus. We're reminded that following Jesus should be our priority, and that doing so requires that we advance, not stand still. We're also reminded that we need to be authentic, and have faith and courage. While Jerry's lessons really made me think, the book soars because of Jerry's writing style. He uses a warm, conversational tone, and doesn't hesitate to include humor and personal anecdotes. Too, Jerry inspires by example. In both his personal life and as pastor of a flourishing church, his primary goal is to follow Jesus. I used this book as a daily devotional, but it could be used very effectively in small group discussions.
