Following the Horizon: A Memoir

By Bill Fountain

What comes after achieving the dream?
For Bill Fountain, retirement from a twenty-year Air Force career was not the end of the journey-it was the beginning of a series of unexpected callings. Through careers in industry and education, family joys and hardships, public service, and an ever-deepening Catholic faith, Bill continually asks the same question:
"Lord, what's next?"
Honest, humorous, and deeply personal, Following the Horizon chronicles one man's lifelong effort to follow God's will despite setbacks, temptations, and his own mistakes. Each new horizon reveals another mission, another lesson, and another reason to trust God's providence.
For anyone who has wondered what God might be asking of them in the next chapter of life, Bill's story offers hope that the light above the horizon is always there for those willing to follow it.
