Read this one slowly and prayerfully!

Although not the absolute best inspirational book I've read (Kempis' Imitation of Christ is the best), this one is right up there. In format, it is written much like The Imitation of Christ, with a series of short exchanges of thoughts on virtures between the Holy Spirit and the follower. It is also interspersed with chapters devoted to prayer to the Holy Spirit. If you found Kempis' Imitation of Christ or Augustine's Confessions to be useful in developing your spiritual life, so will you also find this one.
