Keeps You Guessing

This is book four in the Security Hounds miniseries and can be read as a stand-alone. Each book features a different member of the Wolfe family and their hound. I was happy to get to know Kara on a deeper level and her dog Millie who is blind and has Phil as a guide dog to protect and keep her safe. It was interesting to read about how they work together especially while searching. Beau is an interesting character as he suffers an unusual disability and has let it isolate and control his life. As he navigates this and lets Kara in to help find his mother the suspense begins to unfold. I was torn as to who is behind the mayhem and exactly why until it was revealed. I kept flip flopping and I loved that it kept me guessing. A book of faith, family, suspense, and a touch of romance that I really enjoyed. I received a complimentary copy from CelebrateLit/author. This installment in the series starts off with an explosive bang! From the chases, the water mishaps and being targeted by a killer this book is an edge of your seat thriller!
