Follow a young woman living in an intricate, old house, situated in a charcoal sketch of a desolate mill town. Nataly is contemplative and present with all the shapes and sounds around her at any given moment. The scenes she occupies are set carefully, her actions within them always have a unique, yet determined path. In some respects, the world she lives in has existed before the book, in another sense, the world is created before her, details emerging from the narration while she herself can plainly see the structures and beings come into view from nothing. As she wanders, there are certain events so powerful and affecting she must not only examine them but act in accordance with them.
