Followed draws you slowly into the ruthless underbelly of organized crime in the higher echelons of power in London. Money and power have always been a lethal combination, but when confronted the consequences can be life-threatening something Beth to her horror soon finds out.

Beth's a reporter on her way back to her mum's house in Oxford from a job interview in London. With a few hours to spare, she goes to check on a friend's house. She'd promised she would and now seemed like a good time to do it. The house is just a twenty-minute train ride from Oxford. It's a lovely sunny day and a walk in the country will do her good and give her time to think.

But things don't quite work out how she expected. On her way there, she's attacked-she fights him off. He makes a run for it, but she's seen his face... she knows who it is. Then something happens that endangers the life of her young son. It's as if she's being targeted, but why would anyone do this? What has she done?

With not much help from the local police, Beth investigates and when an old school friend who lives in the village where the attack took place offers to help she's surprised-how can he help?

Much later, she discovers the depths of depravity that fester in the village, the tentacles of which extend much further than the small village in the Cotswolds.

Followed is book 1 in the exciting Beth Papadakis crime thriller series. Perfect for readers who like a strong female protagonist but not for those looking for a gangland crime thriller.
