A charming geological tale!

This little book by Lydia Dabcovich is a charming way to introduce young children to the wonders of a river. The tale begins with a tiny mountain stream and follows it along its journey to the ocean. The artwork is enchanting; each page is a story within the story. Children of all ages (and the adults who read to them) will be delighted with this book. As a science teacher, I'm also happy with the way that geological principles are introduced to explain the formation of a river. Most of all, this is a story that can be read many times and each reading will stimulate the imagination.
