These poems are mainly written in the folk spirit. I have discussed what I mean by 'folk spirit' in my essay: 'the Folk Nature, Folk Spirit and Folk Soul of Human Beings. I refer to it there as the spirit of togetherness and decent fellowship, as it endows us with an instinctive 'feel' for communality.
