The Best

Travel guides have definitely gotten A LOT better in recent years, and the trend toward lavish, magazine-like illustrations is a great improvement on the dry editions of years past. I can't think of anything a person might want to see on the island of Britain that isn't covered here, and some of the photography is National Geographic quality. I found this a useful book and didn't find a flaw in it. In fact I actually enjoyed reading it.
