Flashmaps - Great for the city!

Two crucial tips for NYC: have great maps and pack lightly. Flashmaps allows you to do both! This small book can be pulled out quickly and referenced without having to unfold a huge map. Multiple maps for subways and buses and shopping aren't needed because everything is contained in this booklet. It can be stashed in a coat pocket or small bag. I would recommend this to anyone visiting for the first time or 100th time!

As a recruiter who frequently brings people into NYC, these guides are hands-down the best tool for learning to navigate the city. By eshcewing the "visitor's guide" stuff on the best place to get coffee in SoHo and the like they provide a trimmed-down overview of the city that's indispensible for anyone staying here an extended period of time. No other city guide is as consistently satisfying as these. We've been issuing them to our people for years and will continue to do so.

An excellent tourist guide for NYC

This 1/4" thick guide is excellent for visitors and locals in NYC, from the airport to finding the zoo. Easy to fit in your jacket pocket. It is well balanced for details on visitor's destinations of corporate offices, siteseeing, sports events, shopping, night clubs, and of course restaurants and hotels. It provides details for car drivers, cabs, metro, bus, in Manhattan as well as from NJTransit, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. Also has an address finder, neighborhoods, and zip codes easily identified for you to find the easiest way to get there.
