It is called the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 11:20).The Lord's Supper is essentially very simple, involving breaking and eating from a loaf of bread, and drinking from a cup of wine. Because of this, it is often referred to as "the breaking of bread" (Acts 2:42) in the New Testament.Some people have also called it a "Communion Service". This description is only given to it indirectly in the New Testament (1 Corinthians 10:16), but the idea of communion - that is fellowship and sharing - is very much part of the Lord's Supper, because it is for those who are in the fellowship of a local church.
