My favorite book off all times.

I love how raw this book is. Tells the story of a young black girl. The first time I read this book I was fourteen and I have read it several times now in my adulthood. I love to two follow up books for the love of money and boss lady. This book made me fall in love with reading

HOTT!!

I thought this book was very good but thought Tracy was a lil hoe how can u do dat to ur best friend and u dont even like the boy.Besides that she's a hoe.lol i liked i a lot i thought that it was a very good read and worth every minute of readin it. I think that its a book that every black girl should read this book to show u wat kind of people there are in the world and hu are ur real friends.

Good Books

what can i say, i started this book and thought it would be boring. But then i kept on reading and reading and reading, finally i was stuck in the book. Mercedes reminds me of myself now at the age of 16. Tracy is me when i was yournger the same things she did what she was younger i did too!!! I am the type of peson that dosn't like to read books, but when i read this i wanted more. Now that i have read 2 of Omar Tyree's books, i know i am going to keep on reading. I know when i have children one day i am going to get them all his books so they can read them. This books teaches you lessons not to be dumb and try to grow up to fast. I am only 16 but i feel that this book taught me alot. i think this book should be on every teen girls bookshelf. I know it's on mine :-)

Flyy Girl Was Off the Chain

In the book "Flyy Girl" relates to many teens today. Tracy is learning things like teenage girls do today. She then decides to pay attention. I was moved by this book. This book encouraged me to change my ways because in my mind I was becoming Tracy. This book has truely changed my life.

Flyy Girl is da BOMB!!!!!

I'm a 13yr. old going on 14 female. I read Flyy Girl not too long ago, and I LOVED IT!! I loved the book soo much I finished the book in 2days no lie. I didnt never want to put it down but my ppl(people) made me. I spent $15.00 on Flyy Girl and HONEST it was worth every cent. I cant wait to read the next book about Tracy,she becomes a star. I wounder if they'll make a movie about Flyy Girl. I hope so. In that book Tracy has been through alot. I've been through all of what Tracy has been through,except for the sex. I hope her and Victor got together. So Mr.Omar Tyree on Flyy Girl I give you a MAD,GOOD,EXCELLENT JOB!And keep writing on teen-related books. But Flyy Girl should put you to the top. If you havent purchased Flyy Girl you should. Cause i'll tell you, honest,you havent read a good book till you have read Flyy Girl! So go right now to a bookstore nearest to you and buy it. You Go Flyy Girl

I read this book in one day. I'm still telling people to read it and I read it a year ago. Me, being a 17 year old could truly relate to Tracy and Raheema. The book was so good, I passed it around my high school so more than just one girl could get a dose of reality, and a couple of guys read it too. Just about everyone read it in a couple of hours. Thank you soo much Mr. Tyree. Finally someone who writes about youth without putting us down, but understanding where we come from. To every one who had negative reviews about this book,(put in the words of a typical teenager) you just don't understand and you probably never will. That's the problem with adults these days. Stop being afraid to face reality, because it's out there, and sooner or later, your child is going to run straight smack into it. You just better hope they are able to handle the pressures. You're the best Omar, I hope you come with more just like Tracy and Raheema, there both girls I could find myself being cool with. Keep up the good work My Brotha, and adults, think back to when you were in highschool and maybe you'll remember how hard it is to become your own person with parents breathing down your back.
