History at a glance, great real life stories that I never new nothing about...

This book was required for a college history class I was taking. Peter Meyers was my teacher, it so happens that he also helped write the book. He was a great teacher, and is also a great writer. I learned so much about our history. If you want to read a book that is real life and about tragedies and great hardships, read this book. It is the history that they are too afraid to teach in school. Columbus was not such a great hero, this book tells why. I strongly recommend this book.
