Flynn: Birth of a Gunfighter

Michael Flynn, joins the 1st Arkansas Infantry Regiment and goes to war, fighting for the Confederate cause. After surrender in North Carolina, he returns home, but soon gets into a fight with a Union Lieutenant over a girl. Believing he killed the officer, he steals the officer's horse and rides into Texas. Outside of Fort Worth he signs on for a cattle drive to Lawrence, Kansas. On their return to Texas, a shooting occurs in a saloon at Chetopah, Kansas, leaving four dead. The saloon owner exaggerates events, creating the moniker, The Texas Kid. In an effort to outrun the unwanted reputation, Flynn and his partner, Rafael de Vega, head south and then west, ending up in Santa Fe New Mexico. But, remnants from the past come together, including a US Marshal.
