An Excellent Work on Origami Paper Airplanes and Paper Birds

If you are a paper-airplane aficionado, this book is for you. If you are a science teacher with students who want to do science projects comparing the flight capabilities of different paper-airplane designs, this book is a must. Nakamura, the author, first illustrates folding techniques and symbols. He then demonstrates the folding necessary to produce a variety of paper airplanes, including, biplanes, tailless planes, and planes with propellers. There are also some advanced designs featured, such as lifting bodies, the space shuttle, etc. Finally, there is a section on origami volant creatures. These include the fluttering bird, seagull, swallow, stork, crane, and insects such as the dragonfly and butterfly.
