Flowers in the Darkness is a collection of personal poetry designed to capture moments of encounter, beauty, pain, and hope. Many of the poems are reminiscent of King David's Psalms, and were created out of the hopes and struggles of Denica's own journey of faith. This collection intends to reveal that there is still beauty to be found in the midst of darkness and brokenness. For we are all like intricate and glorious flowers waiting to be seen and loved for who we really are. A portion of the author's royalties will be given to The Genesis Project, an organization fighting human trafficking in the Seattle, Washington area.
